Each door has 2 stainless steel screens, spaced 3/4" apart, to prevent most embers from escaping into the atmosphere, allowing you to view the fire without any fear of sparks flying. These stainless steel screens are designed to withstand warping and cracking. These doors are easily removable by just lifting them up off the pins.
